Frequently Asked Questions

What is Street Industries?

Street Industries is a not-for-profit charitable organisation dedicated to working with children and young people doing it tough across NSW. We offer a range of innovative community-led initiatives and programs that build capacity and resilience through mentoring, life skills, leadership and community development.

Why was Street Industries established?

Street Industries was created in response to an identified need and significant service gap. The majority of youth-focused services provide centre-based services; Street Industries provides a suite of unique initiatives designed to support children and young people who are hard to reach and often face complex issues.

Who does Street Industries support?

Many of the young people that Street Industries work with have limited opportunities and will not engage with mainstream youth services due to their challenging behaviours, complex needs and/or cultural barriers. Street Industries provides culturally responsive service to those young people whose needs cannot be met through existing services and programs.

Are Donations to Street Industries Tax Deductable?

Yes, all donations over $2.00AUD made to Street Industries are fully tax deductible. When you make a donation online, you will receive a receipt to your nominated email address for your records.

Street Industries is a Registered Charity (ABN: 61 105 074 265). Street Industries is registered with the The Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).
